I used to be a professor!

      Sebelum berkiprah di dunia bisnis yang hingga saat ini sudah saya lakukan selama 2 tahun, saya bekerja sebagai peneliti di bidang Fisika Zat Padat di beberapa universitas di Jepang. Yaitu di Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, Kumamoto University (Visiting Researcher), Department of Physics Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University (Assistant Professor), dan Center for Interdisciplinary Research, Tohoku University (Visiting Associate Professor).

(Bagian selanjutnya di halaman ini penuh dengan istilah-istilah Fisika, yang dengan sangat menyesal tidak bisa saya bahasakan dengan bahasa mudah/populer. Kalau pembaca sudah mulai merasa pusing, kepala berdenyut-denyut, saya sarankan untuk segera kembali ke halaman Home, hehehehe).

     Sejak kuliah S2-S3 di Department of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering Tohoku University, saya melakukan riset dengan metode spektroskopi optik terhadap bahan-bahan organik berupa semikonduktor, polimer konduktif, halogen-bridged 1-dimensional complexes, hingga ke kajian struktur DNA. Metode eksperimen yang digunakan adalah  serapan/pantulan optik, inframerah, ATR, photolumiscence, dan Raman. Teknik eksperimen meliputi pengukuran di bawah temperatur rendah dan tekanan tinggi. Beberapa pekerjaan riset saya lakukan dengan pengukuran hambatan listrik di bawah tekanan tinggi dan spektroskopi gelombang mikro. Saya juga mengerjakan penumbuhan kristal semikonduktor organik di bawah medan magnet kuat serta sintesis polimer konduktif.
